Visit to JP Masaiya Cultural Tourism to see the history of Kibosho and their local chiefs in early times. Chief (Mangi) Sina 1873-1893 was the ruler of Kibosho area. Sina was a very powerful leader who was well known for the ability of ruling his territory and organize his strong military for any attack and also defence for the territory. Sina was also against the colonial rule, although he welcomed the missionaries and offer them the land to build a Catholic church in Kibosho.
